Boot up sound/music track revealed Feb. 20. Brilliant! Then curtains close.

Although, there are many cool sounds and beats to this video that seems to hint at many things. There is a lot of inFamous arcing and zapping going on, with subtle drawn breath taken away in the background. Actually, maybe that is me in front of my monitor.

Normally yes. Rumors have been swirling that both MS and Sony want to have their own events first. Everyone is doing the Apple type launch even now. They want their product to get ALL the press for a while rather than being included with all the E3 stuff. It will still be at E3 though mostly in terms of games announcements probably.

Microsoft has always held a separate announcement show for Xbox, haven't they?

Or the reveal of the console has had an event, but not the announcement?
