I'd say....99%. What else huge reveal could it be? Not that it matters to sales but, with the WII U out and 720 going to (most likely) announce release. Why would Sony be the only one not in the mix yet. No, Sony is going to show their cards and announce it to the world. Can't wait.

For those of you that can't read it, via Gematsu:

Sony will indeed reveal the successor to PlayStation 3 at its PlayStation Meeting 2013 press event on February 20, according to sources of The Wall Street Journal.

“Sony’s device will be released later this year, these people [familiar with the matter] said, and will spar against Microsoft’s own machine, which is also expected to be released by the holidays,” wrote the publication.

The new system will incorporate “more social gaming aspects” and be more focused on “changes in how users interact with the machine” versus “hardware improvements,” according to the outlet.

At one point, the PlayStation manufacturer considered removing the system’s disc drive in favor for an all-digital console, said The Wall Street Journal. But concerns over game file size and slow internet connections made them scrap the idea. Microsoft is said have made a similar decision.

Previous rumors have suggested PlayStation 4 will run on an eight Jaguar core CPU and 18 CUs AMD-based GPU.

This will be my biggest travel assignment for PSU yet.

I've been pretty fed-up and cautious about next-gen rumors, but I genuinely have a special feeling about this one.

I'll be amazed if it doesn't have some kind of Android connectivity via phone to console going on considering how Microsoft are pushing their windows phones with 360 connectivity
this could be a masterstroke from Sony considering they've really upped their game in the cell phone market with their new ranges and since android now has a bigger market share than apple

hence the word 'social' in their press blurb

also wasn't there some rumours are few years ago of Google Chrome making an appearance on the ps3?
maybe something is happening now with orbis?
