This could obviously mean anything but I'm thinking they're going to announce. Rumors have been going around that they wanted to beat MS to the announcement.

It looks like PS4 is going to be revealed sooner than everyone expected. In the video you can see like a shadow of some kind of Playstation shape that looks a bit like the Old PS2! Or maybe I'm neet seeing very well tonight!

Announce before hand, start the hype, proper unveil at E3 with games/price/date/in depth hardware.

I personally think this is the way to go.

Normally yes. Rumors have been swirling that both MS and Sony want to have their own events first. Everyone is doing the Apple type launch even now. They want their product to get ALL the press for a while rather than being included with all the E3 stuff. It will still be at E3 though mostly in terms of games announcements probably.

It's very likely that it would have something to do with the PlayStation 4. Sony announced the PlayStation Vita in their 2011 PlayStation Meeting.

Educated guess?

There's no way to keep new hardware a secret anymore. The second the retailers get a sniff of a hint that they need to make shelf space for a new product, it's all over the internet. Waiting for E3 to announce a new console just isn't the way to go anymore. It's a hell of a way to announce games though

I can't wait. That means MS will announce in March or April. Nintendo will drop the price of the Wii U later this year (as most expect) and we'll FINALLY get into the next generation.
