Very powerful commercial. If I played this game, it'd be to see all the people and events he valued before it was ultimately taken from him...how he got to be so mad all the time in the first place. And the commercial delivers on that curiosity.

I watched this quite a few times, very powerful. People say that they share no sympathy for, Kratos because of what he did, but they are forgetting that he was tricked by, Ares. His loyalty to the god of war destroyed the very things that he fought to protect.

Wow, I am not a fan of the genre, in fact, I never played a single GOW game. But this is one powerful commercial. I will get this one!

Meh. Sry donīt like it. I mean wtf real life actors in God of War ??? There have never been actors in any GoW game. This sucks and i donīt like where Sony is heading with GoW. Seems to me they start to milk that franchise like Gears of War or Halo. Sometimes u should just end a good story. If they want to make another GoW then they should sit down and rethinking the whole universe. Maybe another Mythology, there are plenty left. And this ad will be playing during Super Bowl ? Congrats Sony, half of the viewers will think u have announced the movie 300 "The Sequel".

I think that is one of the best live action trailers I've ever seen. They made Kratos look AWESOME imho and the blend between CGI and proper footage was beautifully done. Especially at the end, I didn't know if it was CGI, live or both!?

Just saw this, not really into this series at all but I love this trailer and perfect choice of music!
The song is Ellie Goulding's cover of Hanging On, and the original version is by Active Child..both versions are great in their own ways.

Everyone's got their own opinion. Myself personally I loved the commercial but if there one thing I didn't think they got the right actor to play Kratos he just didn't look right in the face IMO Originally Posted by bariton1
