What do fans think of Bayonetta 2 being a Wii U exclusive?

I'm a little curious to see what fans think of the sequel being exclusive to the Wii U. Are you still thinking about picking it up if the gameplay looks good or have you already made the decision to pass on it?

I would have LOVED to play B2, but not enough to pick up a WiiU for it. Bayonetta, combat wise, was one of the best hack and slash games I've played. Its exclusivity to Nintendo's system is wierd...good on them for bagging it I guess.

Bayonetta, for me, is the king of hack n slash action games right now so I am very disappointed. The WiiU doesn't attract me, so I won't be buying it. I'm glad it's being made though, nothing against Nintendo on that.

It's no Metal Gear, its like if Lollipop Chainsaw being exclusive
No one really cares
Obviously Bay is a better game then LPC

I loved Bayonetta, and it IS kind of lame that the sequel is on the Wii U, but in all honesty without Nintendo's hand in it Bayonetta 2 probably wouldn't exist, so I'm glad we have the chance to play it

Well a guy I know at work borrowed it from me cause he found out her clothes were made out of her hair and she takes em off for certain attacks. Draw your own conclusions....

Never played the first Bayonetta but I did just recently purchase a Wii u so I might just give game a whirl.

I want to check out the first one, but I hear it kinda sucks on PS3. But if I see it cheap used, I may just check it out. But I'm sure it'll help Nintendo out a little, but not much in terms of getting the Wii U out there. But still a good pick up for them since Sega wasn't interested.

Exactly how I feel. I loved Bayonetta. That game has made me a huge P* games fan

Thing is, I know at some point the WiiU will become reasonably priced (for what it is) and have a bunch of amazing 1st party Nintendo games. So I'll play it at some point I'm sure.

Then again it might bomb on a Nintendo platform. Bayonetta 1 did not sell amazingly well if I remember correctly, and that was on ps360. So unless there is a strict agreement in place we might see an up-port of B2 on PS4 some time in the future

Nintendo is publishing, so I don't think there's a chance of a port down the line

Right. If I remember correctly MS published Mass Effect 1 and that's now on PS3 so maybe there is something in that, if the game where to fail for Sega on a Nintendo platform

Wait and see I guess. Could easily go the other way and become a staple franchise for WiiU

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is a Nintendo published WiiU launch game that will release on ps360 in April.

Rayman Legends will be out simultaneously for PS360 as well >:/. Though this was not going to be published by Nintendo ofc

I did not care enough for Bayonetta. I most likely will not play it on my Wii U either.

And the Wii U is most certainly not a "kiddie console". As Blacksite mentioned above, Zombi U is one of the scariest games I have ever played.

Wii had a few M rated games like Mad World and No more heros, but I think it was still considered kiddish. One or two titles wouldn't change the masses view on it.

The original Wii was a kiddie console in my opinion. The Wii U is not.
