Seeing some of these videos, such as the FF Versus and the 8 Days ones, just makes depressed. There were a lot of empty and false promises at the beginning of this generation; remind me to not fall for it again.

It would of been perfect if, Resistance: Fall of Man actually looked and played like that. Such an open shooter with plenty of room for Chimera from all shapes and sizes to do their thing. I still like how, Killzone 2 played on that trailer, it looked more dynamic, more intense. I do know that, Sony won't go through this deception again, at least that's what I remember hearing them say a year or so later after this generation launched.

MGS4, the reason I got my PS3 in the first place. That trailer got me wanting the PS3 more than anything.

speaking of which, wth is up with MS:Apocalypse? its great fun but i swear it looks much worse than the first (although i played the first years ago...)

I still get chills when i see that killzone 2 trailer.lets hope the ps4 games will look like that in real time

Crazy to look back at all the promising. Most of which didn't pan out anywhere near what the teasers and tech demos showed. I remember the FFXIII the most. The "real time" fights in that scene were no where near the final product. SE was trolling on that one. Everything else in the trailer looked spot on though. At least to what I could tell. It's been a while since I played XIII.

It's been a while since I've played the first one too, but I'm pretty sure Apocalypse looks better. Perhaps it may look slightly worse than Pacific Rift since Apocalypse has destructible environments.

Oh Jesus don't remind me! I couldn't get past the first hour of the game. I promptly put it down an never returned again. I rarely do that with a game unless its just awful.

I remember being so excited after watching the trailer for XIII, Versus, and Killzone 2. I rewatched those especially so many times. Kinda sad to see all of these canned projects and games that fell below expectations.
