Whose buying the PS4 or Xbox 720 at launch or whose waiting?

I ask this question because when the PS3 was released it took time for the AAA titles to come out, plus the expensive price tag.

So my question to you is are you going to wait or will you be queuing outside your local Gamestop, GAME etc to purchase it at launch?

Ill be getting the ps regardless, they've impressed me so much in the exclusives department I find it hard to pass up on. The Xbox on the other hand, I'm waiting to see what games they release I'm praying that ms has more this time round.

PS of course. day one for me.

Ive been on playstation since 95 and they have put out three badass systems with an amazing game library.

If I had time I might invest in the other one but till then, ill stick with sony.

I originally said in the past I would wait, but I recently talked to a friend how bored I was of this generation. Once I see the reveals and maybe some launch games I might change my mind.

Day one for me for the PS4. Playstation has always been my gaming machine of choice though. The 720 would have to do something pretty special for me to get it. I didn't get the 360, and I didn't miss it once.

As long as its under 500 bucks its a day one buy for me. Just had to buy a new TV so im glad i have time to recoup some of my money before launch day. However, it kind of depends on the games that are released on Launch day. If the lineup is good enough im definately picking this up on launch, however if its a weak lineup, i might wait a while for there to be a few more games out for it.

I'll be getting both on launch.

I hope they both come out around the same time too.

I waited a year to get my Xbox 360, and I waited a couple years to get my PS3. So I'd like to see what getting them on day one feels like.

Yep exactly. If im going to spend money, i want it to be worth it lol.
(I actually originally planned on the ps3 being the last console i buy for a long time)
But if the ps4 can output some really good games, I'll consider buying it.

I think Evolution Studios was rumored to be working on a full-fledged MotorStorm title. It'd be cool if it ended up being a launch title for the PS4.

For PS4
Hopefully the controller will be something similar to this

It also needs free online and games i want to play and yes i will buy day one.

For Xbox 3 they will need to do a lot for me to want to buy it.
-Better controller (Keep the frame, Change everything else)
-Free online
-More than one game franchise i want to play for the entire generation

Day one for me.

There is nowhere near the problems going into the next gen as there was for this gen. I don't think it will take anywhere near as long for AAA titles to come this time, potentially getting a couple at or near launch(for example Witcher 3).

Day one purchase for whichever console is better, I do hope and prefer that is the PS4 but if the new Xbox turns out to be much better then I won't hesitate.

Depending on the price and launch titles, day one for Playstation 4. I will most likely wait a year or so for the next generation Xbox(I waited 3 for the Xbox 360).
