Forum still keeps signing me out

This forum and this forum alone keeps signing me out. I be in the middle of posting and it won't post, saying I don't have permission to post. When I look at the top of the page, it says sign in like I haven't even signed in.

I'm fustrated and tired of this problem. I've clear my cookies many many times.

What else do I do? And if clearing cookies isn't the only thing I've been told to do, refresh my memory of what else I need to do.

How much time do you spend typing a post? Usually if you take more than 10 minutes or so, the site will assume you stepped away and your session will expire, logging you out (though you'll still appear online for a little while).

If you're clearing your cookies while you're still online then the same thing will happen with you not being able to post.

Sometimes when your wifi is acting up it reconnects and it will log you out.

I spend up to maybe 7 minutes at the most typing a post and I'm not online when I clear the cookies.

What I do is sign in on the main page and save log in. It works I have it like this on my phone, laptop, and work PC...

could be a corrupt cookies.sqlite
Do you use firefox?

press windows key and paste this into the search
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

It should load up your default firefox profile folder

find cookies.sqlite and rename it cookies.sqlite.old

Start firefox and login and see if it helps.

If it doesn't work simply delete the new file and rename old file back to cookies.sqlite.

or you could check the 'keep me logged in' option if its still there

i've left posts for an hour to return, finish typing it up, and post it.

When you sign in, their is a tiny box next to the USERNAME and PASSWORD boxes. It says SAVE, click it and you are always signed in

And also do not wipe your history, cookies and you will always be logged in... I am always logged in

If you look next to the USERNAME and PASSWORD log-in options and it is under the LOGIN BUTTON... There is a wee box, if you click this box it will keep you logged in all the time...

It says SAVE, that means it will off course save your log in details... Just do not delete your history, cookies and you will always be logged in

Yesterday the forum would keep taking me to my Facebook page, but with an error. I had to sign out of Facebook to use the forum. This only happened using Google Chrome. Seems to be working fine for me now.
