I remember asking people what they thought the PS4 would be priced at and most said $500, though $400 was a close second. I'd be surprised if it launched at a 600 dollar price point again.

Considering the desperation they went through to rip out Backwards compatibility, USB ports and various other bits and bobs to bring the PS3 down from that price point... There's truly no way they are going to make that mistake again. In all honesty, there's no reason to, either. BluRay will support 4K media just fine and 50GBs is a ton of data even for next-gen games.

Very good price, affordable for what the console will offer ( hopefully there are games :P) for you when you buy it AND for the next 5 to 7 years.

Hopefully its one of the rumours that is actually true! Lets hope we in the EU/UK don't get fucked over with the conversion.

Hell I paid 387.19 or so with tax on my Wii U if this price is becomes the reality nintendo's Wii U is fucked!

That would be nice but by the time the PS4 comes out I won't be finished with my PS3. Any price drops from there would be even better for me but $400? Not bad at all. Does anyone know if there will be different models available? That might be the cheapest bare bones model.
