Your opinion on Sleeping Dogs? Is it an easy platinum?

I mean, it doesn't seem particularly difficult but rather time-consuming. I've completed the story, cases, drug busts, fight clubs, collected all of the collectibles, attained the highest levels (10) for Face, Cop and Triad upgrades, scored nearly 100 percent on the karaoke bar tunes (you only need 90 and above) etc. I still have to complete the races as well as purchase all of the clothes and vehicles but so far it's nothing I can't handle.

It might sound like a chore but the game is a lot of fun. Sleeping Dogs really reminds me of when I played Bully on the PS2 and completed it to 100 percent. They both have a fun, addictive melee combat system that you can upgrade with new moves and the world map is both "open-ended and closed in", if that makes any sense. Obviously the game isn't perfect but I think it's a great start for United Front Games if they were to work on a sequel.

I'd say it's pretty straight forward yeah, I can't remember much of the game now but I managed to get 100% on the xbox before they released the dlc for the game so it can't be that hard I remember it took me a while for certain achievements/trophies but yeah it's definitely attainable.

Ya, it's really easy, it's a little time consuming but nothing to bad. Only thing I had trouble with was getting my triad ranking high enough for the trophy

Just platted this 2 days ago. A little bit of grinding after the story but It is one of those rare games I actually enjoyed the grind. Really fun game, one of my favourites for the PS3 and that's saying alot! Can't wait for the sequel.

Really enjoyed it and a nice steady run to the plat.
I just had to make sure I had all triad clothing selected for the percentage modifier to complete the triad score as I wasn't max level when I completed. And there was afew of them random missions that only appear during certain hours I had to find.

Lastly, that freakin' gambling chicken game drove me insane

Its not hard, its time consuming as you mentioned. I also got it from steam during the sale and completed the story but dont feel like doing it 100%.
