Favorite IPs this gen

What is everyone's favorite IP's this gen. Some of mine are, in no particular order, are:


1) Bioshock
2) Assassin's Creed
3) Dead Space
4) Portal
5) Darksiders (I hope someone picks this up from the THQ sale)
6) Batman: Arkham Asylum/City

I'm also looking forward to playing Dishonored and Tomb Raider.

Another game that I really enjoyed was Dante's Inferno. This was probably one of the more under-rated games this gen. But since it was a one-off I'm not going to count it.

I also liked Dead Rising but my frustration level with the game save system caused me to leave it off of my list.

Not necessarily. It can be an old IP that is also on the current gen consoles (Mario, God of War, Halo, GTA, etc.)

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is pretty much at the top of my list for this generation (Next to Mirror's Edge). I can easily say that it has landed a spot in my top ten favorite games of all time.

Catherine has been the best game this gen for me. I wish other games go take the road less traveled.
Uncharted
Heavy Rain
Dishonored
Playstation all stars. People will dismiss this game without playing It.
Infamous. I usually don't like games like this but this one was amazing.
Portal was decent
MGS4- Not good as MGS3 but a great installment.
GOW3- Bloody good fun
GTA4. Not even close to SA but still sexy.
Mortal Kombat. It was good to revisit this game.

I still think with the patches, it was still a bit edgy. But socom 4 was worse.

Yea but with those being the only two Socoms this gen, after the patches it was the closest to socom we had, therefore the shooting game I spent majority of my time on this gen. It was decent after you put it in perspective of what we had as alternatives to play.
