Gears 2 online started out as EPIC fail. Those that were patient enough to wait it out found that Gears 2 online after the final patch was solid. It was a beta test for Gears 3 online essentially. Gears 3 online is rock solid.

I enjoyed horde mode and beast mode on Gears 3.
