Lol that's terrible. I like Iwata, and I like Nintendo, so I hope they figure out this Wii U business.
Honestly I think they just overcomplicated things with the touchscreen along with wii mote functionality...and I mean HOW much functionality could you have in a big budget game with touch screen? Maybe go into inventory and shit...but not much else that i can think of, unless its for specific mini-games as well.
Nintendo delivers quality first party stuff, but for me they take far too long in-between games, and that leaves huge droughts. It happened with the Gamecube, happened with the Wii, it will happen with the Wii U. Whereas other AAA developers seem to make quality products at a much quicker rate.Last edited by RedOrb_Collector; 02-11-2013 at 15:33.

He'll be fine. Once a few of the staple Nintendo games are released the Wii-U will sell itself. I'm just waiting for the games i want.
Nintendo is the only true gaming company left, i don't want them to fail. Not that I want MS or Sony to fail either but they aren't gaming companies.I Like Games.

Don't expect a new Zelda anytime soon.
Nintendo takes forever to make those.

Why worry?
Just release another mario...

Wow. Shareholders really giving it to him. Coupled with the fact that he said he could resign if poor business continues, things look gloomy.
Don't think they can afford to slash the price as they did with the 3ds either.
Looks like they'll need a new Mario to shift some hardware later this year as 3rd party confidence is also low. There just seems to be zero excitement over this console, especially compared to the Wii and even next gen leaks

I can wait for those. A friend of mine told me they are releasing a HD Windwaker soon, that's enough of a reason for me to buy a Wii-U.
edit: Found a video!
I've completed this game many times over yet i still get excited watching this video. The art style and music is second to none.Last edited by BoyBettaKnow; 02-11-2013 at 15:56.

Omg, I can't breath
They may find themselves stuck in a gamecube-like quicksand. The touch screen isn't catching on as the Wii-mote did. There's no Wii-fit/wii sports to fall back on. They better pray that Zelda and mario saves them.Last edited by Two4DaMoney; 02-11-2013 at 16:17.

02-11-2013 #12Kazuo Hirai, Sony CEO, gave some advice to Iwata saying, “It’s okay for us leaders to cry over failed products. Trust me, I’ve done a lot of crying too.

That sucks. I got a feeling the next xbox and PS is gonna struggle a bit too. I always thought Nintendo should of just dropped the wii name and just back to the NES.(Nintendo Entertainment System) I think they will pull through this setback.

It's a fake news site. There's a reason no one else reported on it.
