The saga of Bethesda's incompetency with Skyrim and its DLC on PS3 is well-documented. But the tragedy finally ends tomorrow! Dragonborn - which is set in Morrowind and a Cthulu-esque realm of Oblivion - launches on PSN February 12, while Dawnguard (the vampire expansion) arrives February 19 and Hearthfire the week after.
To help sweeten the deal for PS3 owners, Bethesda will offer each at 50% discount for a one-week period.. That puts Dragonborn and Dawnguard at $10 apiece, and Hearthfire at a measly $2.50.
Is anyone still playing Skyrim? Will these DLC releases be enough to bring you back? Have you sworn off Bethesda forever?
Personally, I'll probably buy Dragonborn for the Morrowind nostalgia. Not sure about the others, but Hearthfire is a pretty easy sell at only $2.50.

None. I stopped playing Skyrim over a year ago, had my fill from an Elder Scrolls game and loved it (yes even on PS3).
But I have no interest in going back to play some DLC... maybe if it released sooner, yes, but I'm done with Skyrim, bring on Elder Scrools VI next gen !! ><

I still play Skyrim so I'll be buying the DLC especially at such a good price.

The DLC's just do nothing really, they do not extend the story at any stage. Just there for the sake of
' Wait that's new "
Thanks to Spyrde/Sylar

2nd hand GOTY for me thanks...Bethy can suck it...I won't boycott their games, I'll enjoy them without them seeing a cent.

Fully intended buying them however, since I already had Dawnguard and Hearthfire on PC; I just got Dragonborn there too.
Will end up going back to PS3 Skyrim but it will be in the form of a GotY edition, not individual DLC purchases.

I`ll buy all the packs. Still playing and enjoying Skyrim, imo it`s yet to be bested by other games and easily better than any game of 2012.

Been too long, my interest has died. If each DLC was $5 I'd think about it, but at $20 for both.. I'd rather buy Ratchet & Clank: FFA

Played it for 2 hours and it looks and plays great. The load times are pretty long though but otherwise well worth the 10 bucks.

I've spent an hour or so with Dragonborn as well. The Morrowind environments look great and have loads of atmosphere - a little sparse on detail and foliage, though. Part of that could be the barren landscape, but I have to wonder how much less effects and environmental objects we're getting as a tradeoff for enabling Dragonborn to run properly on PS3.
And it DOES run properly - at least, as well as Skyrim ever does in its current patched state. Jitters and long load times notwithstanding, I'm satisfied for now.

I want them because I would be starting again but not sure about the total price even with 50% off doesnt seem worth it
