Slipped within Time-Warner's call to investors last week was this mention, from the company's chief financial officer, that the next entry in the acclaimed Arkham series of Batman video games will be arriving in 2013.
Said John K. Martin, Time-Warner's chief financial officer:
And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013.
Last month, Warner registered a slew of Arkham-themed domains, among them "Arkham Universe," "arkham Legends," and "Arkham Stories."

I'll play it but I'm definitely not buying it day 1.
No thank you. I'll be gaming DRM free on a stronger console for $100 cheaper instead
Sony trolled MS. PS4 fans didn't do it. We just laughed at MS and anyone getting mad. $399 FTW!

New Batman: Arkham Game Coming This Year
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/02/...ming-this-yearIn an investor call, a member of Time Warner management has confirmed that a new game in the Batman: Arkham series will be released this year.
John K Martin is the company's CFO, and you can read the transcript of his comments on Yahoo! Finance. "And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise," he says. "So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013. And with a little luck, the year should be as good or maybe even a little bit better than 2012."
A third entry in the Arkham series has seemed inevitable for a while, but we've had no firm details on what it is or even who is developing it. Rocksteady had hinted that its next game will not be Batman-based, and Variety claimed that Warner's next Batman game will be a Silver Age prequel featuring members of the Justice League of America - but it also claimed that the game would not be out before 2014.
We'll have more news as we get it.Last edited by Silver_Knight; 02-12-2013 at 18:13.

I sort of doubt we'll be seeing it this year, but I suppose it's possible. Sometime next year seems realistic. Maybe they'll announce it around E3.
I will definetley buy another Batman game from Rocksteady. Hopefully it's all of Gotham. I read a some batman comics after watching TDKR last summer and there is a ton of great material for them to work from.

Yes,yes, yes, yes! Another Batman game. Next gen would be great all I can really ask for is an open Gotham City, vehicles, maybe some co-op,and more villains.
I had no intentions of becoming a leader. It is as a warrior how I shall be remembered, but these are hardly numbers worth dying for.

No, the Batman games have always been multiplatform. It was just a little bit of exclusive add on content. There was no timed exclusivity or any of that nonsense...
They probably said that PS3 was the lead platform or something and you misheard/read something or heard rumors...

Won't be exclusive. Batman sells and there is no need limit the sales the game could get. Going to be on every platform under the sun.
Just want I want

I will do the same agree with you on that decision. Batman AA was really good and I thought Batman AC it will be better by adding bigger levels to explore, better adventure story, more weapons and gagets, and longer story. But it wasn't good as I thought and I will wait and see how is the going to be.

I think the Arkham games should end and they should do something else. Though I didnt play the DLC for AC so maybe it left off with a general idea of where it could go
