This is absolutely interesting. I'm actually kind of depressed over no share button (If this is to be true).

If they don't fix those horrible analogs I will be disappointed.

I love the ds3. I have real triggers snapped onto my L2 and R2 and it's perfect. I hope they keep the analog sticks in the same place and tighten them up just slightly but not to the degree of the 360's controller.
No thank you. I'll be gaming on a stronger console for $100 cheaper instead
Sony trolled MS. PS4 fans didn't do it. We just laughed at MS and anyone getting mad. $399 FTW!

The sticks are useless! They need to remove that rubber top that peels after a while and make it like the vita but concave. I'll take pics of my og controllers when I get back from work

I don't know why VG247 has a lot of people believing their stories, from what I can see all their "sources" like to contradict each other. I'd rather just wait 7 days and get the real details from the horse's mouth.
Trophy-licious!

Ugh... if they go the same route as rumored with the 720 for PS4 requiring move camera I'm going to be quite upset. I like the sounds of the DS4 though. Add some bells and whistles while keeping the overall design I will be happy.

The PS4 controller will be the DUAL SHOCK 2.1 and it will have the BLUE BOOTH and SENSORS for MOVE and it will have the common SELECT and START buttons and
SQUARE, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, X buttons and it will have the LT, RT, R2, L2 buttons and the PS LOGO in the center that POWERS the PS4 on...
But that PS LOGO button will have other abilities too and the abilities will do with HOME, PSN, RECORD, and it might also might be a MIC on the controller for communicating with some games and to turn on and of the PS4...
It is just a redesign of the controller and the buttons will all be in the same place as before... But they will add new features..
What they are, is anyone's guess... I am just posting what i think it might be
Thanks to Spyrde/Sylar

(if true)
More or less same shape as a dualshock?
Changes to L2/R2?
Win
I wouldn't care either if they offset the analogs. I'm fine with either style. But if its the same shape as the dualshock then you would think analogs will remain in the same position otherwise it would look awkward

Interesting. Only thing is, how much will an extra controller cost?
And does anybody think the the PS4 will be backwards compatible with the Dualshock 3? The PS4 is probably guaranteed to have bluetooth like the PS3, not unless there's some new technology I've never heard of.
I don't really care for the Eye Toy. If they're gonna force it on people, I hope it doesn't make the price of the system go up.

the sticks are awesome. So much higher quality... Very smooth tension and on top of that linear displacement of sticks translated into accelerated displacement. etc etc. much better tech.
Looseness is just preference, but tech is much nicer. They can still keep all that tech and make it bit stiff, but thats just personal preference. They should just do adjustable looseness.
The real problem is the ergonomic of the controller. I hope this report is wrong and they changed the shape.

Heres something im predicting for the controller. on the Vita there is an actual metal ring around the edges of the hole the sticks protrude from which are meant to prevent the analog sticks from wearing out on the edge. I bet sony incorporates something like this to the new controller. If theyre going to have all these high tech features on them like the touch pads and the grip sensors, im betting they wont be 60 bucks to replace... probably closer to around 70 or 80.
