So yes or no? Would it just be a waste of money and time... Or is it worth it? Another thing... I'm not interested in 3D movies and there isn't many 3D games (No I mean in like 3D movies way). So do you guys recommend me getting one or more... Or 0 and save like 378 $?

Ok, my 2 pence worth...
I have probably used the 3D capabilities on my tv for maybe a total of 10hrs! Id say buy 1 pair, just to get over the 'novelty'

Well, if you're not interested in 3D movies nor do you feel there's many games worth playing in 3D it would indeed be a waste of money.
I got two pairs of 3D glasses with my TV and I haven't watched a 3D movie but I've seen a couple of IMAX documentaries in 3D and those were pretty cool.Other opinions are available.

Yeah, it is probably worth getting at least 1 pair.
Can i ask though... why bother getting a 3D tv?

I (personally) wouldn't waste money on the 3D portion of it, I really wish the 3D trend would just hurry up and die already, I have yet to find a person that is excited about 3D still! Now smell-o-vision on the other hand...

Well because over 50 % of the TV's sold where I live is. And it got the things I feel I need MINUS the 3D function.
And to those telling me to get ONE... Well I've the ones I got with my Sony 3D laptop back in 2011... Should I just use them and not pay like 125 $ ? It's a Sony 3D-HDTV btw.
Also this is the one I got with my laptop...

Try them and see if they are compatible. 3D tv's are picky about what glasses they work with.
