What are your predictions for the reveal?

Sorry but the hype train has me rolling to bad and I want to hear what everyone thinks we will see from the upcoming reveal. What kind of details do you think we will get? Do you think we will see specs or not? Tell me what you think Sony is going to unveil. Here are mine.

Projected release date- I'm calling for an early November 2013 release date in US and Japan with March 2014 Europe as the projected date. I think this is crucial for release date so they can hit the holiday crowd.

Projects revealed- This is a bit of a grey area atm for me. I'm just not really sure what to expect to see. I'm thinking that we will see this and possibly more but I don't expect to see a lot of projects. I think we will see very minimal gameplay if any at all.

Killzone 4 teased. Projected to be a launch title
LBP 3 teased.
Polyphony Digital teases new GT6.
Evolution teases new Motorstorm.
MG:Ground Zeroes announced as PS4 title.

I know I'm basically reaching a lot here but I honestly don't know what the heck we will see.

Pricing Reveal- I'm thinking that there will be 2 bundles. Just a hunch. One with the Dual HD Move camera and one without. $400 without $450 with. Just another speculation here but I think 2 bundles is not out of the question. Possibly $500 for the camera bundle.

Specs- I don't think that we will see the specs revealed. I don't think they want to show their hand just yet with MS likely to announce right around the corner. I'm thinking specs will be revealed at E3.

DS4-I believe that the rumors are going to be mostly spot on with the touch pad in the middle of the controller. I think there will be subtle changes like the triggers to have a upward curve at the back so your fingers don't slip off.I expect the controller will be a tad bigger in the grips and the width but nothing to completely change the overall concept of the DS controller.

THE PS4!!!- Yes the PS4 not Orbis. I'm sure just like all previous consoles Orbis is just the project name and the new system will have the same tag as the last 3. No need to break tradition. I'm not even going to guess at the design at all. There is no way I could guess what it would be but here are some of the new feature they may announce.

-Cross Game Chat- Lol! This was talked about so much and this I think they will announce as a service to fans and for much of a humor moment as fans eventually just dropped it for the current gen.
-XMB 2.0- I think Sony will adopt much of the original design but make it a bit more categorized and easier to navigate while making it more sexy. I know some dislike it and another love it. I love it but some of it is a bit hard to find stuff on so I think they will refine the look and ease of use. I don't think they will show the format though.
-Video Sharing via Cloud Service
-Connectivity with Android devices and Vita. I know the PS3 already uses Vita but I think they might find ways to implement Vita more to try to help the struggling handheld have more appeal.

Will update as more ideas come to mind.

They said on multiple occasions that they had no plans to work on a remake. If they had any reason to show that tech demo back in 2005, it was because Final Fantasy VII was their most popular title.

I honestly see where you're coming from. You're forgetting that the last comment they made contradicted every thing they said. Square Enix is “going to explore the possibility” of a remake. "Wada" Also, the PS4 will have new technologies( technology) and It makes me wonder If it would be easier to make FF7. Also, you remember the end of the Crisis core? It's blatantly obvious sometimes. Square is just a hot woman giving us mixed signals.

My worry is they anounce the AMD chip bulldozer. This strugling to match phenon II in tests. AMD and sony better hope it works better in console than the Pc's if they go with it else they in deep trouble.

I love AMD running now on phenon II 4 core 965 black. Last one was AMD another issue they run hotter. If they going AMD cant see this being operation decision by sony gaming and more from higher up sony corp as its cheaper option. I just hope its bespoke one not for the CPU bob standard which worked hard to improve.

I hope it wont be online only and cloud gaming too. Has have backwards too for me.

I not as exited for the ps4 as ps3 cant hide this. Might be only second one to miss came in with ps2 console gaming due to rubbish going off on pc with drm, steam. Have enjoyed it immensely. Some cracking games over the years.

Tech demos, some games,maybe price they wont tell us specs just yet.

I expect a montage with a bunch of games scheduled within launch window but no titles attached to them. Let the rabid fans figure them out for some good ole viral marketing.

Hardware wise.

I expect a PS4 reveal with some features discussed and a improved controller.
I expect MAJOR interaction with Vita mainly and the rest of Sony's arsenal

I'm not expecting them to reveal the price just yet but I do expect them to give us a ballpark idea of it's release date (U.S/JPN)

A new Uncharted
Some AR stuff
a price drop

Wishful thinking...... Memory cards no longer required for game saves (I think that's what's killing sales along with the price)
