I've just recently gotten into Law and order as well as Big Bang theory both of which are on your list. Law and Order is super addicting, once I start watching I can't stop

The X-Files, Lost, Band of Brothers, The Universe and Stargate Universe are some of my favorites. Monster, Last Exile, RahXephon, Mushi-Shi and Baccano! are pretty good anime shows.
