Agreed. So much for the 360 fans who said that MS focus on Kinect wouldn't affect the 360's core games. The only bright side was that the Fable series started going downhill after the first one anyway.

I think the PS4 will likely sell more systems worldwide going by how the 360 and PS3 has performed. It probably won't be a huge difference though.

If it wasn't for the year head start and early troubles Sony had with the PS3(such as price), the 360 would be a distant third right now. This time MS won't have a price advantage or a huge head start.

The 360 also had a slight advantage with third-parties early on due to being easier to develop for and being on the market longer; which it won't have this time.

lol who will have better sales? well if both consoles launch close to each other then sony will most definitely sell more consoles. going by this gen even after MS had a 1 year head start, they couldnt outpace sony...like sony always said, its a marathon not a sprint.

MS has a huge battle on their hands for North America. It seems like Sony is attacking MS where it will do the most damage. They have the new ad agency(which is already at work). They're holding the Playstation Meeting for the first time in the States. The price advantage will likely not exist anymore. The ps4 is rumored to be even easier to program for than the 720. I seen from a mod on gaf(that's in the know) saying that Sony will fight fire with fire and money hat with the 3rd party support as MS did this gen.

I always get one console first and it's usually a PlayStation. That's what I plan on doing next generation -- have no reason not to if I want to play the next Uncharted/God of War titles.

They sell more outside America. Before they stopped reporting the npd figures to the public, the 360 was ahead of the ps3 by 13 million(iirc).

Europe/pal region is their strongest market based off a quick google search.

Yeah I think the total sales are close for the PS3 in each region but 360 has a hold on US. I think is around 35 million in Europe and about 30 million or so for US sales. Don't quote me, just going of the top of my head could be way of.

One thing Sony needs to change this gen. Give back to your strongest supporter. I hope we will see a worldwide release as a token of good gesture for strong support. Without Europe's strong support Sony would have been blown out of the water this gen.

the one who gets both , u are pretty amazing, I have vita for a few months as a second console now, new games and deals raining thanks to ps+... Even If i have more platform to play games, there is simply not enough time to deal.

Definitely getting ps4, after all those hype that they created on me.

Most def getting a PS4, and will most likely get a 720 as well, but their launch games will decide. If it's HALO 27, or Gears 10 or another COD game, then no chance. Bored of all of them.

Maybe an Alan Wake sequel would be good to launch with.

I'll get both eventually. I think Sony has a better shot this gen. Now which one will be better, I don't know.
I'd say the PS4 but that would be my inner fanboy speaking with very few info. We know nothing about the next XBOX and the specs of the PS4 can easily change until release.

i was going with PS4 based on the rumours. now after the rushed PS4 reveal, i will get one after Nextbox (if i get one at all).

i'm now thinking with the lack of multi-plats shown for PS4 that Nextbox is once again going to be the lead system for those, so i'll go with Nextbox selling more.

as to the better system. not bothered about that.
