Probably the best exclusive of the year, if not outright best game. I'm incredibly hyped for this. Normally I wouldn't be moved by the promises this article makes, but given the theme of this game I imagine the pacing allows for it.

Not keen on overly long single player experiences, Uncharted 2 was a bit long winded and the last hour or two just felt to long, Uncharted 3 was perfect amount of time.

Hopefully the gameplay in this game is good enough for it not to get boring. The fact that the game is more about survival than action fills me with confidence!

Seriously? An amazing game like Uncharted 2 felt TOO LONG? I didn't want it to end ever.

Which is why I'm happy this game will be even longer!!!!!! <3

2 started getting too samey even though it was a great game and easily my best on the PS3. While U3 was not as good they got the length of the game spot on.

Never played an Uncharted game but I don't think the game will be longer than 10 hours, would be epic if it were longer though.

Good, this brings it to the top of my must have games this year, that was the only problem I had with the Uncharted games, they were too short IMO.

I would guess around 40 hours or maybe 50 hours long... Unless their is free-roam elements, then it could be longer

As far as I know, Jak II and 3 had the longest single-player campaigns in a Naughty Dog game (15-20 hours). It's also one of the reasons I prefer the original to the sequels. All four Uncharted games have never exceeded 10 hours.

Not to say that a long single-player campaign is a bad thing but they generally work best for RPGs and open world shoot-em-ups.

I know this isn't your typical shooter and items are not plentiful. I'm still going to kill every human and infected possible. The only time I'm going to sneak and not search everywhere is when I have no choice.

In my opinion, it's more fun to sneak up on people. And I'd imagine that ammo and supplies would be scarce in that kind of setting.

That's what I want to do. Be stealthy and deadly and shoot as a last resort.

The very first splinter cell pushed me over the edge. Not being able to kill someone until I'm told to did something to me as a gamer lol.

If the story develops well, and is paced well there is no reason why I see this as a problem at all. I like longer games as I feel I get more of my money's worth out of it.
