oh I know, I'm saying that if the game has as big of a scope as it aims for, then the visuals for current gen are more than enough for me.

And we already know that its coming for next gen systems aswell. They just can't show it since none of the platforms have been announced

Not personally impressed I have a 360/Ps3 and PC, I've played LOTRO and Halo Reach for years but if its a decent Halo like game on Ps3(or the rumor is Ps3/720) then it would be cool, my 360 is largely a Halo box anyways and PSN is alot less lagger then LIVE so I guess their would be no reason to own an xbox next gen with a decent MP shooter on it.

I definitely need to know more before I decide if I like it but...you can visit like every planet in our solar system. That's just fucking awesome. Now, how much of each planet can you visit? That's the question.

This sounds intriguing but I will have to see more before I'm full blown excited about it. It does sound like an ambitious project and a step outside the box. I don't put it past Bungie to make this game awesome though. It does give off the impression that it is kind of taking the Dust 514 route but on a bigger scale. Only time will tell.

Yeah it's a tough loss for MS to lose the exclusivity of Bungie. This has been their biggest money maker. Plus no Halo. MS better snag up something good to make up for this loss.

Destiny was never an exclusive for the Xbox 360. It's just going to release first on the Xbox 360 (so it's a timed-exclusive.)

As for the project itself, I am excited and looking forward to it. It sounds very ambitious and reminds of this article I had read a while ago regarding 'The Sims' by Maxis. I hope they are able to achieve everything they have set out to. The Sims didn't turn out exactly as the article had painted it, although still a good game that I enjoyed when it released.

It was supposed to be but it never really was because Microsoft bought Bungie before that could come to happen. Also, it was a completely different game then.....not a FPS.

I know, I just remember them showing off Halo at a press conference on the Mac and it never happened. Very good move by Microsoft.

Some people on GAF are complaining that the game is too colourful for a post apocalyptic setting.
This just blows my mind. People really think that post apocalyptic means gray?! In fact I think that this irony is so awesome. To have such lush environments to draw contrast between the life and death...

People will bitch bout anything! If they had made it darker people would bitch thats its "too dark" just like the other post apocalyptic games.
Personally i like the color palette on this game, looks fun too. I'd probably get the ps4 version though.

Sorry I was under the assumption Bungie did the last Halo. My mistake. It seems it didn't really hurt Halo too much considering 4 was a great installment.

4 was easily the best IMO. Plenty of other talent in MS first party studios.
