See I didn't know that. I've heard of the word Orbis but didn't know the meaning. I knew of Vita right away. While it does make sense...the name does sound like something out of Star Wars or Star Trek. Which I don't have a problem with but it's like calling Kinect = Natal...no would would've gotten it.

Just looked up the meaning of Natal and it said something to the effect of "relating to buttocks at birth" lol. No wonder they didn't keep it!

True, you have a good point! I doubt they will use that name since they have never used a system codename as the official name of any system yet, I just hope it isn't called PlayStation Omni! Hopefully they will some up with a name that fits since I doubt it will be called PlayStation 4 since 4 is sometimes pronounced 'shi' from what I have read and that means death!

That's because you looked up natal( Nay-tell) like parental care and not Natal(Na-tall) which is a city in Brazil. It was a tribute to the country by Brazilian - born Alex Kipman, who is the brains and started the project.

Comcast has something called "Xbox Xfinity"? It would be Microsoft's "Xbox Xfinity", the entire name would be branded. If Microsoft only called is, Microsoft's Xfinity, then they might get in trouble.

I think that is how it would work. I could be wrong though.

Hmm....I think they could still get in trouble but who knows and spelling it the same way would cause confusion. Also, there is no need to spell it Xfinity when they can just use Infinity, in my opinion.
