Yes sleep mode is a cool new feature for the PS4. I like the sound of having that because there are multiple time when I will be coming back to my PS3 shortly but I don't want to just leave it on or turn it off.

Most of the stuff looked good. I'm still excited about Watch Dogs even though it's multiplat. It looks really nice. Whatever that game with the sword/dragon was, that looked fucking awesome...

I LOVE sleep mode on a console...instantly demoing games via Gaikai, watching your mates and having your mates watching you play, remote play, video capture and sharing...

Tell me about it! The Capcom game looked absolutely stunning. In fact all the games kinda did. There was only one move section and that was from the beloved Media Molecule .

They really hit it out the park with this one IMO. Very impressive showing. Could have done with a little less talk but they've definitely sold the console on me

I think no matter what MS does or sells; I'm gladd Sony have gone this route. They have added stuff to add value for social mainstream sorta things; but they haven't let us down in terms of, you know, GAMES!

The armchair CEOs can point out sales and numbers till they're bleeding from their knuckles; but they're forgetting that it's about the games. #StandByYourNumbersFUckers

You do realize that both sony and MS will be losing money on every console sold from day 1 onwards, right?

They never price the consoles at the true cost to manufacture/assemble/box/ship, ect.

Who is to say that MS wouldn't "eat" the higher costs of having kinect 2 shipped with every console in addition to the rest of the hardware.

Don't underestimate what companies are willing to spend to get what they want.

I am well aware they lose money from day one, that doesn't mean there is not a limit to the amount a company is willing to lose. Perhaps MS will increase the price of Live and make it more of a necessity for the console to offset the costs, I don't know, but at the moment everything points to the next Xbox using 8GB of GDDR3 memory.

It'll be interesting what MS shows. I know this much; while I'll be getting PS4 day one; I'd still like to see what direction MS takes with the new Xbox so I can at least see what it will do (mainstream wise and core-wise).

Latter Xbox 360 years have shown me its best to get it after a redesign/slim version (at least when I can see if/when they've revealed more exclusives).

Either way this announcement has actually gotten me excited for next-gen.

Yea, depending on price I may get day one. I don't plan on getting the Xbox but I'm definitely interested to see what they show, maybe they can sway me. I went with one late after release of the Elite and eventually sold/traded it.

That Second Son trailer got me itching for some inFamous, thankfully I have it downloaded. About to hop on and go through yet another playthrough.

I want more! I have waited so long it seems for this unveiling, yet I feel somehow cheated. Perhaps I was expecting too much, too early. However in the end I am now interested in several PS4 titles, which is a huge win!
