This falls in place with a theory I had based off the Killzone 3 engine being easily portable to the psvita. Sony devs will likely hit the ground running with the ps4.

In all honesty, I would be happy with any IP they come up with for the next generation. The studio is class and as long as they are talented and driven to make the games, they can do whatever they want in my book.

Anyway, I tell ya, Sony is gonna hit back hard this gen. Sony's development studios are basically like a network of Sony talent. Santa Monica are hardcore, they have worked on and helped with SO MANY games...Naughty Dog helped Sucker Punch with inFamous 2 (and it shows). The fact that Sony is releasing 10 exclusives and 5 new IPs this year shows you the kind of content creating power it has in its hand. Now all those creative and networked resources are going to funnel their shit into a powerful gaming console...Throw in other facts like SEN, PS+, Gaikai, Vita and Sony's push towards offering the best price propositions for its customers...and things look good.

as for the article.... it was a complete non-article. they didnt say anything except that "our product looks better than what you see". While thats very nice to know, and ND has always managed to impress me, i didnt learn anything everyone didnt already know, except for the fact that "Proffesional's" who write articles online, are writing at a fourth grade level. I really hope they dont pay that dude for that kind of writing...

Naughty Dogs is*apparently*working with two internal squad. One of the team is *happen to be working on The Last Of Us while the other one *believe to be working on the sequel for Uncharted 3 for the PS4.Christophe Balestra the co-president of Naughty Dog stated “It’s about the quality of the tools, and about whether you can make something smarter. My guess is that they will expand and you’ll have more this, more that and you’ll always have something more. In terms of our art, we always create our assets at a higher resolution than what you see in-game. A lot of our pipelines are already ready to move to something superior to the PS3. But it’s scary.”Not only that but he struggle on moving from PlayStation 2 to the PlayStation 3 and as we anticipate it was a walk in the park.It is very intriguing to see Naughty Dogs take one step forward to a new development edifice from the Ps3 to the PS4

Almost every game company out there is in the middle of projects for the next generation whether they admit to it or not. I'm fine with franchises miliking their games just as long as they always make big improvements over their last installment. Games like uncharted, god of war etc are always putting new stuff into their games so I have no problem with continuing to buy them.

May be the ps4 will get its own ascension game with add on's and other stuff

Agreed! As long as a game series keeps making great leaps and strides I am all for it as well, it is when the games don't improve and quality (both graphically and storyline) just kind of blur together and you can barely tell them apart is when it starts getting hard to justify the purchase...

I want to see Naughty Dog work on a new IP for the PS4. I thought Uncharted 3 had a nice ending for the series.
