via PSU.Gaikai has registered various internet domains related to something called PlayStation Cloud, lending credence to rumors and reports that Sony will utilize Gaikai's streaming technology for a future PlayStation platform.
The domain entries, which include playstation-cloud.org, playstation-cloud.com, and ps-cloud.net specifically reference Gaikai Inc. as the domain registrant. Last year, Sony purchased the streaming juggernaut for $380 million in what many suspected to be a bid for next-gen preparation.
We won't have to wait long to find out. Tomorrow evening, February 20, Sony is expected to reveal PlayStation 4 to the world in New York City. You can catch every moment of the big night by watching PSU's official livestream.

I'm really hoping for a streaming service type thing. Assuming it would be subscription based, it would be amazing to have the entire back catalog (or at least a lot of it) of games in an instant for a small fee. So much stuff I've missed out on that I'd love to play.

But but but rumors never turn out to be true...bah if they allow stream to download then that would be awesome. Oh and if the ps4 doesn't allow people to play games online while it downloads then that'll suck

It's just some games that do that for some reason. I know that I have played games and stuff downloaded in the background no problem. Others don't. I never figured that out. Another thing I want to point out. Mandatory mini games for installs if they are like they were on the PS3!
