Found an article where a Sony rep said this:

Thanks for reaching out. While we don't disclose the exact criteria used, we can say that select active PSN users were chosen to receive an XMB message that included a credit for their SEN Wallet as part of this special promotion.

So people who haven't received a message, or those who have, do you have a CC linked to your account?

I don't. Or, didn't. I just added a PayPal card I never use anymore and it accepted it being used. Figure it couldn't hurt to see what happens. Really don't want too sensitive of info on there because of the history of hacking so I took my card off some time ago. I guess their wording of 'loyal customer and fan' is code for 'someone who still has faith we won't get hacked again'.

I'd be okay with that if they told us.

I can only buy from the US Store using US cards because I'm not from the US so it won't accept any cards. If it did, my primary PSN account would be a US one.

I gave up hope earlier but it's official now. Here's a comment I found on the official forums about the situation. Not too much a fan of it, but it does give confirmation that it was somewhat random and not everyone will get a voucher. I'll be able to stop wondering if they're going to send out another round of messages.

Although I can’t divulge the exact criteria for how we chose who received a voucher, I can tell you that there was a random element involved (but it was not the only factor). Our team loves promotions like this that give back to our community, but unfortunately we are unable to include every PlayStation fan. I know that some of you are upset because of the word “loyal” used in the description, so I’m sorry if you were offended by that. Rest assured that just because someone else received a message saying they are a loyal customer doesn’t mean that you aren’t too.

What I find funny - in one of those frustrated ways - is that it seems the majority of long-time users didn't get the voucher. Meanwhile people who were on the PSN for a couple of weeks got one. Not that I have anything against new users, everyone is welcome, but it just seems to be Sony fashion that longtime users get passed over. My favorite part about it is the people who don't have a PS3 to even receive the voucher with (and then of course nobody outside of the US even having a chance). Sony sure knows how to shoot themselves in the foot.

Oh well, it was fun hoping.

Yeah, I didn't get it either. I've been on PSN since 2007 and have spent quite a bit on the network. Doesn't really bother me though. Funny that non-ps3 users received some.
