From the looks of it they seem to be alluding to an FF7 remake. Could it finally be happening?

Same demo that was seen a few months ago. There is a plug for the FF7 name before the tech demo for their new engine. It's the same demo we've seen before so there's nothing too special about that. However, we should be "very excited" for the new Final Fantasy game for E3.
Could be FF7, which I'm personally hoping for. Could be FFvs13 which is cool too or something else entirely. Can't wait to find out!

FFVersus 13 seems like the most predictable answer.
It got pushed back to ps4, will be revealed on the next xbox also, and/maybe probably renamed FF15.I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

Could be. In either case I'm very happy with the news that something cool is finally happening with SE. I still think that 7 is a possibility though because they really made a job of plugging it into their show before they went through their bit.

wow, a lot of developers are jumping right on the PS4 wagon and that makes me very happy. Because it's pretty clear the PS4 will be much easier to develop for, I think we will see very good things from SE.

That's what they are known for now. Blow smoke and go. They keep doing that over and over. It really gets old after a while. I'm no major SE fan but I've been interested in some of their stuff for a while now and we haven't seen anything concrete on it. Just show us something besides a tech demo please! It's been 16 years now??? Of all the rumors and speculation and hype and hope and dreams. This was the first conference with Square Enix that I actually thought FF7 remake was a possibility. When Shenji hit the stage, I honestly started to get chills....and then he promptly sh!t on my lap by revealing nothing at all.
FF7 isn't even my fav FF title, and as cool as a remake would be, I've never been one of the many rabid fans demanding it. But tonight truly was the first time it entered my head that it could be happening. I guess if it gets revealed at E3 then I'm some kind of psychic.
