I only bought a PS3 when I did because of the removal of BC. Cost me $1,000 but I refused to not have a system that could play all those awesome games I had and still have. To this day my PS3 has had a LOT more hours of PS1 and PS2 games played on it then PS3 games.
if I am in the PS3 or 360 section I will NOT post about the competitor just to please people, if you want to know what I think about the competitor link me to a thread in the appropriate section

I would have kept it too anyway,but how to be BC its not possible,since the new one is practically a PC...vastly different architecture than the older ones...To keep it at a low price,must sacrifice the BC.I prefer that,than to pay 700 for it to have BC and cell on it...
