Mass Effect 3 And Dead or Alive 5 Land On PlayStation Plus

Just when you thought PlayStation Plus was about as good as it’s going to get, SCEE have just hit it out of the park with a trio of top tier games that are free as part of your subscription.
First up is EA’s massive RPG Mass Effect 3, available from the 6th of March. Despite weeks of everyone moaning about the end of the game the general consensus is that the rest of it is pretty good.
Also available is the technically brilliant brawler Dead or Alive 5. Sure, it’s a game with absolutely loads of DLC but it’s optional stuff and the core game is well worth playing.
Finally, indie hit Joe Danger 2 completes the trio.
Don’t worry Vita-owner gamers, the week after will see the superb Metal Gear Solid HD Collection available, and on the 20th cute water-based puzzler Bubble lands on the service.
Fantastic.
So remember that Sleeping Dogs, Vanquish and LIMBO all leave the Instant Game Collection on the 6th, and WipEout 2048 and Lumines in the following weeks. Grab them now if you haven’t already.

I know it's wrong but I'm pissed there's at least 4 games I've got for Vita that are now available via Plus - that I'd have saved money on. After this news, I've decided to stop buying Vita games, Lol.

Sorry but I don't want this, at least give us Mass Effect 1 as well. I haven't played 1 or 2, I don't exactly want to play 3 first and the only option for me would be to buy 1 and 2 in order to get 3 for free...no way.

Yeah Sony has given NA PS+ subscribers the big middle finger since the day it started. Once my subscription expires I wont bother renewing until Sony decides to pull its finger out and give us some good games. I wont hold my breath for that though.

Only issue is, you should play Mass Effect from 1>3 as the games as they follow one massive plot. If you just play 3 then go back to others... it won't be the same

Yeah, the Mass Effect trilogy has a great story that has tons of lore to it, and your decisions and character carry over to the next game. I think it's the bests series of this generation to be honest, so I recommend you guys play all three games.

The first game is rough around the edges, so beware, but it still has a very good story. The next two games significantly improve the gameplay, menus, and overall polish.

I got a Eurogamer 30 day free trial so I'm checking it out. PS+ does seem pretty awesome these days, maybe i'll subscribe.

To me it looks like the NA have it better this month, MGS collection and I'd rather play Spec Ops than Mass Effect 3

Question: when it says X game is leaving the instant game collection, if you download it before it leaves (i.e. Sleeping Dogs) can you still play it whilst you have PS+?
