FPS, Action, RPG, Puzzle, Simulation, Racing...I guess pretty much everything! I hope they do something where smaller indie companies will be able to make games for the system as well, it would be great to have that because it is amazing what kind of game ideas come from there!

I want to see some space sim games make a long overdue appearance on Playstation. There seems to be a bit of a renaissance about to happen within the genre and I would love to see Star Citizen make it to the PS4. Elite: Dangerous would be cool too.
Also looking forward to large open world RPG's. On current systems the lack of memory held these games back somewhat so with no limitations I want to see them visually up to par with other genres as well as having the large scale vistas that will no doubt be amazing with the draw distances and particle effects devs will have at their disposal.
Whilst not technical wizards, I can't wait to see what From Software do next gen.

I could go on and on about the types of games but I would definitely like to see more steampunk titles for sure. There wasn't many this gen but they were usually great when they come out. Deus Ex was one of my favorite games this gen. I would like to see something like that this time around.
