A bit ...boring.

I can't stand the current XMB. It's dated, slow and probably the most boring UI of any console.

I think it's the one thing MOST in need of a complete overhaul. I hope we see something a little more polished

Have to disagree with you here. I like its simplicity. It doesn't feel like it's trying to throw a million things in your face.

If they have an avatar and i can dress it, i am sold.

I kinda like it but what i don't like is that it's like facebook which you use your real name. , why not keep the current usernames ?
also, the game streaming feature should be on twitch not ustream and the clip uploading should be on youtube

also hope it's region free just like the ps3 with freedom to make more than one user for the family and the ability to make japanese or other regions id 's

Pretty sure they said you can keep anonymity if you want. I think the 'real names' part is only something your friends will know you by if you let them.

I don't 100% like it either but it's ok to me. But there's plenty of room and time for improvement. They haven't shown all there cards yet so who knows, maybe the interface is customizable. Maybe we could change the sound effects, change things from alphabetical to personal, delete things we know we'll never use, download apps or multiple windows for more user friendly surfing.............but well never know for sure, only time will tell.

I like it, and if it's customizable as it should be we should all be able to find a setup that just 'works' for us.
Either way watching it run on the show it looked fast and fluid as it should be.

I also like the little comment that says something about "you should join our party sometime"...hopefully that's cross game chat

I think it looks fine, but I expect something sleeker and sexier from Sony. Sony usually goes for a more 'rounded' approach, whereas this is more square, similar to the 360 UI.

I assume this will be improved by launch.

Maybe but that may take even more RAM away.

quick question for you guys, do you think we will be able to upload to youtube via the share button ,its just that at the ps4 reveal they only mentioned facebook and ustream and on the jimmy fallon show they only mentioned facebook again, if not what are the reasons?
