Rumor: GT6 Will Be On PS3

And Denny isn’t quick to dismiss earlier consoles in favour of the next generation, either. The PS Vita is still just finding its feet in the handheld market and seven years after the launch of the PlayStation 3 it’s still an exciting console with more to offer in the coming year.

“Look at the games coming out on the PlayStation 3 like The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, GT6, and then on the third-party side of things another fantastic Assassin’s Creed, GTA,” Denny listed. “It’s important for our content to have that kind of longevity because, as I was saying [about the PS Vita], the games that come through are going to get better and better over time.”

I don't think so. That is a big game and no way Sony would release it for the PS4. But maybe it will happen who knows.

I was really looking forward to GT6 on the ps4. Drive club and its "first person racing" isn't going to cut it.

Well, you know that possibly launch title Driveclub developed by Evolution Studios, the makers of MotorStorm which the game will possibly be a next-generation driving game, so it seems likely or unlikely to me.

Makes more sense aiming it for PS3 due to having 80 million consoles out there, Hope they dont though and they work very hard to push themselves and push boundaries making GT6 amazing however the last thing we need would be PS2 & PS3 cars on GT6 if it hits the PS4...Would be a disaster if that happened.

Id rather of PD go all out and try to push the PS4 version than have half the team step back and lower the game for the PS3.

SONY needs system sellers for the ps4, GT6 is ONE of those games SONY has that can possibly do this.

It will be stupid to not have it ps4 exclusive.

With spec 2.0 and all other updates and DLC GT5 is spectacular and meaty game. How much more, in a technical sense, could they improve the game on the same hardware? $60 for an updated GT5 just labelled as GT6 is on the cards here

GT3 pushed PS2 hardware sales so I'm assuming that Denny made a mistake here

Oh and on the flipside, with DriveClub (even though it looks more arcadey) may have been a reason why they release another GT for PS3 and then just release a PS4 GT a year after drive club.

If it does come out on PS3 then i'd like to see....

60FPS - its a must!
Every car to be premium
Tracks looking like PS3 quality
Better customization/Better Tuning options
Much better Sounds
Better variation in tracks

Tbh there is alot they should be able to do if it's out on PS3.

I understood in previous Gens why we had 2 GT games on a ps console but I hope these rumors are false. With DLC now a days there really is no need for a second gt game on ps3.

Also my future PS4 will need a gt game in the launch window lol
