there are a lot of people that buy MP3 players of any sort and that's fine. There are a lot of people still buying CD's but they do so online.

Indeed, the way I see it is the CD is a master copy
MP3 is a compressed copy that I can make, I do not want to be limited to a compressed copy
Sadly the damage is already done with iTunes

I don't even play music CDs on the Playstation 1 so really not a big deal to me.

Then again, I haven't bought music CDs for more than a decade.
