We already knew about this, probably the real reason they revealed the PS4 so early. Destination PlayStation is the event where they show new products to the retailers. They were worried one of them would leak something.

Nah we wont see the console. if it wasn't ready for the 20th it won't be ready for the 25th
I dunno if they livestream this event? I doubt it. Will be interesting to see if any new information regarding PS4 comes out of this though

Either East or GDC. Back to back this year. East ends on the 24th GDC starts the very next day. With them so close I don't think it really matters which they do it at.

The reveal was for this. Otherwise the conference would be more of the same. I think this event is mostly for investors to see what Sony is up to. I doubt we will see much of anything new.
