I have been trying to figure this out for last hour now. I am at the Halls of Ascension Tomb. There is a lot of wind and some shutters to my left. I close the shutters and then raise the plank. The shutters open and is supposed to push the plank close to the wall where I can jump to the wall and do a wall climb. The problem is that this damn plank is not being pushed anywhere near the damn wall. The wind comes and the plank will begin to move, but then it just stops. What the hell!!!!!!!
Has anyone else had this problem at this tomb?
Edit - Holy shit, I finally got it to work!!!!!!!!!!! There is a trick to this though. I had to hang on the ledge of the plank and face the wall I need to jump to. After I heard 2 loud clanks from the crank, I pulled myself up and the wind finally pushed me far enough. This almost ruined my amazing experience I have been having so far.

It's awfully similar to Uncharted though, It is it's own game as you say as it's alot more dark, gritty more adult orientated with a more real looking world. Does it beat Uncharted? Maybe...defo better than 1 & 3 debatable if it's better than no.2. Originally Posted by Naxi

The best Adventure game since Uncharted 2. It really is outstanding. I bought it and was skeptical before I played it. Haven't beat it yet but have put about 5 or 6 hours in and for the first time in a long time last night when I was supposed to be sleeping all I could think of was "I can't wait til I can play this again tomorrow.".

I don't know if I would say it's better than Uncharted, but it's definitely up there. It's an amazing game and I've been the same with wanting to play it all the time. There really has been nothing so far that I don't love about it and it's been such a joy to play. It's been a little while since I had a game that I was this excited about. The time now is 21:36 and I cannot play this game for more than 5 mins without it crashing.
I bought it about 6 hours ago and the first hour I was benchmarking to find out what was causing this flicker problem, which I eventually succeed by trying every setting 1 by 1.
Please note I used the lowest settings possible so I knew the issue is the post processing option and nothing else so be warned it may give your eyes cancer becaue it looks so bad.

Tomb raider is the first of this kind, so please don't sound like Uncharted is the king lol. I loved this game to the core, definitely like the survive concept, map design , how they make arrow that much useful, musics and new character of Lara.. Definitely worth every penny and a nice challange for upcoming games.

But uncharted is the king though and tomb raider does borrow somewhat from it. It built upon what uncharted did and expanded it. But tomb raider is an amazing and epic game from start to finish.I was shocked at how good it was after I rented it from redbox.
