Just a little update here. I am still in process of figuring out exactly how we are going to deploy responsibility to get this up and going.

I need some people with a LOT of spare time on their hands.

In short, once i get it sorted, I need the following:

Game item admin
Town - area admin
Monster Admin


These people will be responsible for filling out forms, submitted to me so I can enter the data into the game world.

I asked once before, but lost track, but who here is interested in contributing to getting this set up?

Reply here with your interest... monsters, items, towns. There will be other responsibilities open later in time as well, but for now I need a couple (at least) of people in these areas to get the ball rolling.

So right now the status is in prep mode. Once i have the sheets generated, I will assign volunteers to getting them filled out.

ok... first of all, let me say very sorry guys for sort of leaving this hanging. the Mrs., kids and I have been battling a horrible flu bug here and it has been like the 2nd coming of the plague. We have been missing work, and well basically it has been unpleasant.

I finished up the first of many spreadsheets for the forumon RPG (which to my knowledge will be deployed when we populate it). I began with the SPECIES forms.

I won't lie. It will take some thought, as the number of variables are many. I need prob at least 3 people to email me and ask for the spreadsheet. It is in excel 2007 format. I could prob swing it into other formats, but it would be easiest if people just filled out this workbook for each new species they come up with.

I will be working on the areas spreadsheet next... so whomever would like that can email me at cuguy@psu.com as well.

I'm pretty sure OpenOffice can open excel spreadsheets, which is a free program (and pretty damn good)

Google docs has spreadsheets...accessible by anyone with internet. You can set permissions for who can access it too.

Good idea. I will drop it on the Google Drive this weekend. I am actually adding ALL of the spreadsheets so we can get going on this. It is going to be a lot of setup. Literally PSU will be designing their own in house RPG. Map locations, monsters (you guys), enemies, items, moves, etc... all of this is at our beck and call.

Cuguy, enemies will be a great thing to mix up and instead of the usual enemies all the time on a loop script, I was thinking small hard to kill enemies like

Mini trolls, spiders, bugs, elfs, elves

and also middle size tough enemies like wolf's, tigers, sabru tigers, bears, wild horses

And even bigger enemies like trolls, giants, morphing monsters that change shape and into new monsters/ none lethal NPC's to trick you into not killing them

I know some of these sound crazy, but they could work
