I wanted to let you know about some internal changes that we're making at PSU from immediate effect. I want to be transparent with the community to let you know how we're re-structuring and organising things behind the scenes ready for the assault into next-gen. The benefit should be seen with the content we produce, how the site begins to adapt for next-gen and how our forums improve. That's the plan.
I'm pleased to announced the following...
Adam Dolge is now Editor-in-chief at PSU, working with me on strategy, overall content management and managing our U.S. team.
Mike Harradence has been promoted to Executive Editor (UK) overseeing all work from the UK staff.
Kyle Prahl and Tim Nunes, who did an amazing job over the week of the PlayStation Meeting have been promoted to Managing Editors.
Alex Foote is our new social media manager, so those who follow us in those channels should see more activity.
Rob Manning will continue as the Community Manager, Scott Hill (Sir_Scud) as some of you know has now taken up the management of the community reviews section, while Alex Locher (Ghost_Rhayne) concentrates on building our DUST 514 section. Don Oliveria has been doing a great job with hosting our podcast and he'll continue to entertain our readers, while Joseph Fait, will be working on gaining interviews throughout the industry.
Of course we have some other great editors too, including Ernest Lin who was the guy lucky enough to head over to New York to see the PS4 unveiled.
If anyone is interested in joining the PSU team at this exciting time please let Adam or Mike know. We're currently looking for someone who can help us out with Database management, which involves adding trophies, wallpapers and making sure all game information is up-to-date, and we're always on the look-out for quality writers.
