Down right awesome shots there indeed... A lot to point out and study... But as Blacksite says just concept images and most likely not be real deal on the PS3/PS4

I thought Blackbeard called him Edward Kenway? Which is the grandfather of Connor i think

Man you are right, a quote

but you can check it out below. It shows Edward Kenway, grand father of Connor from Assassin’s Creed 3, in action.

    So like, Connor's brother?
not sure what u mean... cuz Connor is Haytham's son. and i think Haytham is Edward's son. So AC4 going further back in time in terms of chronological order. i think

    Oh, Ubisoft.

The day there is an Assassin's Creed game that takes place in Fuedal Japan is the day I will buy an Assassins Creed game. This is a no brainer that samurai swords, or Katanas, are fucking awesome weapons.

I seem this on N4g.com and assumed it was posted already. It looks cool

But i do not think these are leaks at all, i feel Ubisoft known's what they are doing and slipping out screenshots, videos and info to grab are attention

But i might be completely wrong and they are really careless about this project

Wow. They stripped AC3 of the one mechanic most people loved and gave it its own game.

Seems kind of pathetic, but this thing's going to make bucket-loads of money; you can't fault a company for recognizing a gold-mine.

eitherway the AC team are very talented by making these games every year.

edit: holy shit @ that liberation bull shot, I wish it look like that
I think revelations was the worst one outside of AC1. But i dont fault AC1 too much because it laid the groundwork. Revelations just felt too much like brotherhood. It was the reason I still haven't played AC3. I needed a break from the series. I'm ready to play it now.

I didn't enjoy the ship battles in AC3 -- and the fourth looks to have more of that....I'll have to wait and see.

The milking of the series made me no longer care for it. I've had too much Assassins Creed and now I've built an immunity towards it. AC1 was good, if only because it was something new and different, but AC2 was amazing. One of the best games to come from this generation. It fixed all the issues with AC1 and carried several layers of additional polish. Then Brotherhood released... alright, sure. Kinda soon, but whatever. Then Revelations. Both were fine games, but really? I didn't feel either were worth existing, and it just felt like too much of a cash grab. I wish Ubisoft had wrapped up AC2's story fully then waited 2-3 years for AC3, but now I don't even care for AC3 and I skipped it entirely.

Now we already have AC4 on the horizon? I just don't care. I can't personally support this business model.

Man I was going to say milking it too but others have beat me. I won't be buying this game. Give me something new for my NEW console. Bring this back when you have something special to bring to the series. I can't even be bothered to finish the last one. We get promised a lot but when the rubber hits the road AC is just another COD with same game...same engine...new local. I will be buying fresh new ips with my new console.

Watch Dogs isn't new? I understand where you're coming from but they do have a new IP coming out. AC is still relevant so it's understandable that they want to continue with it.

I want them to go back and focus on making each target a big event and give it the same atmosphere as they did in AC1/2. The series has lost that (making it about the 'kill' i.e. Dexter).

We should prepare for it etc.

They don't necessarily need to lose the open world and all that other stuff, they just need to differentiate each target from just being "just another" mission.
    My backlog.

I think that was more to do with the Creed
Get info, report back to the Creed, get more info, report back to the Creed, Get the ok for the hit and report back to the Creed
Altair put a end to all that and Ezio didn't have no order/ no Creed l to follow until he started it and it began as revenge and others joined and reported to him which we saw in Brotherhood, same with Conner, there was no Creed

They can still do that without the Creed. To me, that's a bit of a copout.

It is more than possible to engineer ways for it to be more focused.

    Ew, Call of Duty.

It's (Assassins Creed) alright. I'm not saying the games were bad, but I would have preferred 2-year cycles so each game could have been much better overall. And again, I personally don't want to support this kind if release model. It's money-milking.

Yeah but story wise thats why it wasn't there
Ezio was the last and became the head Assassin, we sent Assassin's on those type of missions to retrieve Intel for us and just did the Assassination and & Connor was the only one, except the old dude who guided him
With Altair it was more of a organize group calling the shots and you was carrying out orders, Ezio and Connor didn't have that, they call the shots.
Not saying they can't bring it back, just explaining why it wasn't there Story wise
Design wise it was because that was one of the complaints about the first.
And from what I can see this new Assassin don't answer to anyone
