Unless MS and EA pull the rug out from under us and do something really radical, I don't really see why this would be a good move for either company. EA would be restricting their market to a new platform, and MS would probably be paying out the wazoo. EA is one of the most platform agnostic publishers around, they want all their games on every platform. I don't see them doing full exclusives for either platform at all, it'll be timed exclusives and some DLC at best. Hardly a major selling point. It's even worse for EA since they have routinely said they sell more games on the PS3 than the 360.

Another "possible" problem could be:
If MS and EA team up and release exclusives, but they fail ( unlikely) the relationship between the two could be pretty bad, enough for EA to even ignore MS if it does become bad.
EA are probably the last publishers who will release exclusive games like this imo, especially something as big as BF and even ME2.
