This is going to be interesting to see if Microsoft treat this like the Activision partnership.

Brilliant. So they partner with the publisher who has just announced they will be putting micro transactions into all their games of the future (but you can bet they won't reduce the game price).
I don't like where this gen is heading already

And a 69.99$ price tag... Quite possibly online passes as well. Partnership might just mean TIMED exclusives or exclusive DLC. I very much doubt they will go one console only, this is EA we are talking about (unless MS gave them nice incentive$)
All in all, I don't think their "partnership" means anything more than "yes we will support nextbox as well"When the Bogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
when Chuck Norris goes to sleep every night, he checks under his bed for Daryl Dixon!!

I hope this is not indicative of what Microsoft will be talking about at their conference.

I remember E.A saying something about their games being download only. So i will throw this out there
If the rumours are true about online only XBOX720, then this means E.A. have the edge on download only games and this will suck
But this also could be old E.A games being released on the new Xbox live for the 720

The new deal may involve Battlefield4 and Respawn.

the online pass system, the micro-transactions that are to come in effect are the main reasons as to why the only game i get from EA is FIFA.

It's either going to be exclusive DLC for games like Battlefield 4 or it's going to be an exclusive new IP.
I doubt Battlefield 4 would be timed exclusive. EA wants that game to be bigger than COD, and delaying the PS4/PS3 release would not help.

Honestly this isn't very surprising. Considering EA wasn't at the Sony reveal and not to mention Moore is head of EA Sports. It only makes sense. EA isn't going xbox exclusive though. They would lose so many sales that way. Exclusive DLC/Timed is probably where this is headed.
