why the hell do people buy the 3DS? the games are of the same quality as portable phones, and the 3D - for those who can see it and not have eyes hurt after 2 minutes - brings nothing and is really limited ...

The 3D did make me feel a bit ill after a few minutes of playing so I'd keep it constantly off, but the 3DS does have games which is why it's selling.

Yea I rarely use my 3d feature on mine the only game so far I had to was super Mario 3d land

I think that JP are more likely to enjoy some of those "terribad" games that keep getting released for the 3DS. I got a 3DS last year and have less "gotta have" games than the Vita I just got. I know both have been out for a while but I really do think the PSN, PS+ (for now) and PS4 will make Vita more popular building up to the PS4 release.

Yeah the Vita price cut wasn't active during the collection of these numbers. I don't expect it to make that much of a diference in the long term anyway but we'll see next Wednesday I guess
