So far I have been pretty impressed on what they have shown thus far. I am worried that the CPU will be underpowered, but until I hear more definitive info on it I am not going to judge it just yet. I think that they involved the developers with the design of the console and I think Mark Cerny has done a great job so far!

As an overall package very impressed. Of course depending on price my impressed levels could drop lol
I don't get people who talk about games at the moment. They've only just announced it, I was surprised to see as much gameplay as we did. Look at the quality of the first party studios, look how much support there's going to be from talented third party devs - There will be great games, this is not in doubt

Games wise i will reserve judgement until after E3.
Hardware wise, let's take it in order:
*CPU - extremely disappointed;
*GPU - fairly impressed;
*RAM - extremely impressed;
*Controller - fairly impressed;
*Other hardware parts and OS features - impressed.
These are opinions made in direct comparison with what i personally expected a next gen console to look like.

Im not one of the techies here but im pretty sure the cpu isnt as important as the gpu.
Especially with gpgpu, where some processing like physics is done by the gpu.
I think the ps4 is gonna be one sweet machine

I'm definitely impressed by Sony's vision for this generation, which seems to be more level-headed and more relevant, all while still getting core gamers excited.
I was also impressed that many games were shown at the conference and that they were all running in real-time on PS4, even if some were cut-scenes instead of gameplay.
I'm slightly disappointed that the PS4 won't provide quite the same graphical jump that previous generations provided, but this was most likely the correct choice, since this means a cheaper console that will sell more from the get-go, thus gaining more developer support and more games for us.

Simply put, I'm really impressed with it all. A game console that tries to have some cool game related features for us, and built with the developers in mind. I'm excited for E3 to see more.

We have yet to see what else developers are working on for the console. Wait until a year or so after launch before seeing some impressive results.

I was more impressed than what I had expected to be. If it comes in at $399 or under, I may even consider buying one this holiday season assuming AC:IV and U4 are released at launch (I will not stand in line for one.) Note that I had said I intended to wait a year like I did the PS3.
I may need to fight my son though as he will be wanting an Xbox 720. Maybe he get's that for Xmas and I get a PS4, but I'd like to convince him to request a PS4 and let me get a new Tablet (does that make be a bad person?) He's 10, so I will be telling him he will not be getting Halo, CoD, etc which is what he wants because his friends play them.
I was very impressed with the controller update and features.
Pretty impressed with the Share feature addition and Gaikai (eventual) integration
Fairly impressed with the APU - I'm not really that down on the CPU especially if it does run at the rumored 2GHz, especially considering it's direct integration to the GDDR5 - Higher latency doesn't mean crap when it's prefetching the data - Throughput is king when it's not random accesses. Very impressed on the memory side of the APU and the GPU should prove more than adequate.
That said, I don't expect that big of a sticker price like we saw last generation. This type of APU is starting with existing baseline die's tying them together on a MCM, should help keep costs reasonable. BluRay drives are now are fairly commoditized. This fact alone should keep the BOM down to something in the $400 range. Updated to the new tech on some of the IPs were appropriate but not overly costly.
I somewhat expect that the HDD sizes not to have jumped up from the current PS3's to the PS4's to keep pricing down. The reality is we're still at the same pricing for a 500GB Laptop drive as what we were 3yrs ago when I upgrade my PS3 to a 500GB drive.

Gaming coming first being topped with OS features is what I wanted and Sony passed that with flying colors. I can't be more impressed at the moment. I didn't go into this reveal expecting for it to be their E3. It would be stupid to blow their load and not have anything new to reveal at E3 13'.
And I'm happy they kept the controller mostly the same. All the upgrades are gladly accepted in my book.

I was very impressed during Playstation Meeting

I'm impressed to say the least. There were many features that I'm excited to try out. As far as specs go, The cpu was the only slight disappointment. But from what I'm hearing there will be much freedom for devs to use the CPU to allocate resources where they want easily. So that might be reason enough not to be disappointed. So much to be excited for with the PS4.

Compared to the Playstation 3 this is going to be sweet with all these new features and of course smoother running.

Very impressed with the overall package and design decisions Sony has made.
Somewhat unimpressed with some of the specific specs. It falls in line with what I was expecting (Sacrifice some advancements and performance to make it cheaper to produce) but other than the amount of RAM it doesn't exceed my expectations.
Still, like I said, I'm very impressed with the overall package. I think it will do what a console should do, and do it very well. It's not the strengths that I'm impressed with so much as the lack of any serious weaknesses.
