PS4 could have "the strongest launch lineup we've ever had."

It's why Sony delayed the PlayStation Vita: They desperately wanted to have the best launch lineup a PlayStation platform has ever seen.And surprisingly, with 25 titles available at the release of the new portable, one could indeed argue that it had the best launch in PlayStation's history. Sony wants to up the ante again with the PlayStation 4.
In speaking to CVG, Sony Worldwide Studios vice president Michael Denny said they expect the PS4 to have "the strongest launch lineup we've ever had." Thus far, we know that Killzone: Shadow Falland Knack, both of which were announced at the PlayStation 4 unveiling, are launch titles. But it would kick ass if games like inFamous: Second Sonand DriveClub were also out when the new machine hit shelves.
Said Denny:
"I think you’re always going to want to cover the big genres – the big, triple-A experiences – and keep pushing them and keep innovating within them. I think Drive Club was a great idea and part of their vision you would’ve seen in Motorstorm RC on Vita – more of a social type racer, but on PS4 I think they feel they can do a more fully formed racer and bring some of those things in to it."
You may also see some generation-straddling titles at the PS4 launch, too. For instance, Watch Dogs should be on the list, which is one of the most anticipated games of 2013. There's no doubt that a huge launch lineup is critical to the PS4's success right out of the gate, so here's hoping Sony makes good on their prediction.

With the amount of games that have already been coined this early as launch titles, this could wind up being right. It will be tough to beat the PS2 in total amount but if the quality is there could be an amazing launch. Looking forward to it.

The Vita was amazingly solid, 6 launch games I wanted, ended up getting 3 on launch the rest later.
hopefully it beats that for me.

On topic: I'm ready to see what Killzone's multiplayer looks and feels like. I'm pumped for watch dogs but there's something about that company that puts me in caution mode. I'm really looking forward to what's square doing though. I have a feeling they're bringing there a game this year.
