I think Assassins creed 3 is the biggest let down, after the other 4 AC games got me so excited, Conner (the most boring lead in a game ever) and his boring story really pi$$ed me off! Lip sync`s were terrible, graphical glitches, and what the hell went wrong with them shadows??? It was such a let down that I traded it in and got the new Alien`s game!
The other things that let me down was that nobody has done a reboot of G-Police (ps1 game)....which i think would look awesome on PS3, or any online space shooter, imagine a MMO space shooting game were you are flying small craft between massive ships or asteroid`s shooting the hell out of each other! Why has nobody done this?

Haze for the most part. Here's this cleverly marketed game that looked so good in the commercials, but sucked so bad. Another disappointment for me was Motorstorm. It's literally just different types of vehicles on various dirt terrain with damage. It's Burnout with dirt. Finally, inFAMOUS was pretty damn boring for me. The game looked ugly as hell, the mechanics felt too weird for an open world title and I just bored of it fast. That's as far as PS exclusives go.
For multitplatform, I wasn't too crazy about Bioshock. It was regarded as one of the best games of this gen, or best shooter this gen and I was excited when 2K decided to port it over on PS3. I played it and wasn't impressed..at all. It was an ok game, I completed both parts, but it's seriously over-rated. It's not that special. GTA4 is also a huge dissapointment. I was on the hype train for this. I pre-ordered it and even went to the midnight launch. It was a great game until I finished the story. Then, everything else was just boring. There was nothing to do in terms of replayability. They took out all the fun, from what San Andreas had and attempted to make it "realistic". I will say that the New York look was hands down, the closest.

I just finished AC Revelations today and I'm rather disappointed. I tried to pay attention to the story but I just couldn't follow it closely. I felt the combat to be very frustrating. I was on the defensive constantly. Any time I tried to strike at someone I would immediately be struck from behind. A few times near the end of the game I wanted to just run away from a large group of enemies but I guess guards are all world class runners because I could never outrun them. They surrounded me, pushed me into a corner and would constantly hit me and I was unable to break out. I did eventually but that was so annoying.
The last bit with the parachute and avoiding hitting buildings? That was stupid. I felt like not even trying to move around and just wait for my health to get low and use a potion.
Bright spots were: the Altair parts, I enjoyed the story there and the only missions that stands out for Ezio were the one or two finding the Masyaf keys, the cave one is the one I'm thinking of. The others had you go somewhere and just pick it up, no climbing around or anything. I loved the mission with Ezio playing the guitar(or whatever that was) and singing. I thought it was really funny hearing him sing and play. Loved that.Last edited by podsaurus; 03-24-2013 at 02:28.

The world opened up, granted it took about 20-25 hours to but it still did. Pressing X to pass battles? I seem to remember having to change paridigms and thinking from time to time to pass the tougher battles.
Waiting to press X after the enemies pressed X to pass every battle in past FF games didn't bother you? lol at the tradionalist FF player.
Maybe it's just me but my enjoyment of the FF series is based on more than whether we get to talk to random pointless NPCs in random pointless towns and the battle system.

Even though Skyrim was open world...I thought they could have done a much better job at the game. I liked playing Skyrim but after a few days it got pretty underwhelming once you understood everything.

Skyrim was pretty awful. I didn't understand the hype behind it. Almost every goddamn quest led to some boring looking cave that only looks a little bit different from the next one. Bad animations, tons of glitches, and whole bunch of other things I'm too lazy to list at the moment.

It opened up to more battles.
The earlier FF games didn't require anymore thought. The difference is that FFXIII was more drawn out. Enemies had much greater health and usually required you to reach their 'Break Limit'. The result is more button mashing than before, with the same amount of thought.
