Final Fantasy XIV RR Benchmark

Hey guys, I was wondering where I stood in the pecking order. I ran the demo at max settings in 1920x1080 and scored 3341. What are you guys getting?

hmm couldn't see a 1920x1080 resolution Highest was 1900x1200 so I scored 4337 with Maximum settings on that res

great graphics though would be good if it was a free MMO

EDIT my bad 1080P setting was high up i'll run it again

EDIT Scored 4725 @ 1080p

When i click the .exe file the instructions tells me to the logo pops up and goes away 2 seconds later and nothing else loads. Can i get some help please?

Probably bad idea to run if during a scan and installation of another game. Will run it again when it's all done

Ran the demo at max setting in 1680x1050 res (best this monitor can do). Scored 3278. Seems to run ok, but would tone things down for optimal performance.

Set to maximum at 1080p scored 5180.
Maximum at 720p scored 7503.

Guess I can play FF...

Got 5346 running 1080p at max settings. No forced AA but AF was set to 16x.

Mine was running on Window-mode for some reason, not sure if it's supposed to be like that.

Yeah, mine ran in Windowed Mode as well. I couldn't find a toggle for fullscreen. Game looks gorgeous, though

Not much differrence in scores when enabled AA and DOF also average FPS is only 3 less.

I was even surprised that the demo/benchmark ran very smoothly without any stuttering at all.
Here's hoping, I'll be able to get in any phases of the beta.

I'm on an overclocked 7850.

When I played the original release game, the laptop I had then failed the original benchmark program when ran at 720p resolution with most things turn off/down, but the game itself played fine with a few things turned on, so I wouldn't put too much faith in the benchmark, with that said...

With the ARR benchmark my current laptop from October 2011 broke 8400 at 1080p max settings, though I'll probably play the game at 720p since the UI will probably be too small for my liking in 1080p.

Something is messed up with its detection. If ou click the links in my previous post you will see it says 4096MB for VRAM.

I'll probably re-up my subscription for a month and see if I like it. Bought the original CE for PC way back when, so I think all I need to do is reinstall when they open servers.

I want to try it out. For what I've seen it looks like it has vastly improved and what XIV should've been all along. I'll probably end playing it this time.

Not quite. The games on a completely new engine, you have to DL the new version altogether. And they'll be giving everyone another 1 month free as if you just bought the game.

Nah I not long became a SWTOR player (first MMO) liked it so much I paid for a 6 month, sub but FF sure does look nice though
