via Gematsu.
Square Enix filed a trademark yesterday for Deus Ex: Human Defiance in Europe.
The name bears a similar title to the publisher’s 2011-launched Deus Ex: Human Revolution, developed by Eidos Montreal.
Perhaps a sequel is on the way? Or a port for Wii U?
Thanks, NeoGAF.
I haven't played a Deus Ex game I didn't like so I'd welcome a fourth title.
UPDATE:
via VG247.The Deus Ex: Human Defiance trademark which popped up earlier this week is, as suspected, for the movie based on the franchise and not a new game in the series. The correlation was figured out by Superannuation, after a domain registration filed by CBS Films popped up online. The movie will feature a cyberpunk setting according to filmmaker C. Robert Cargill, and is based on 2011′s Human Revolution.

Hopefully a new game and not a port. I enjoyed HR very much but I have not played the original games.

Its a fantastic game, loved every second of it, played through multiple times, and still found other routes and ways to play the game.
The only let down, once you know a way to kill the bosses, they can take less then 20 seconds to defeat, though the boss battles where outsourced to another company.
Its one of my very few platinum games, loved it. Should definitely play it.
Hopefully this new game game will be just as good as the last, waiting with optimism for a Squeenix title, who'd have thought it.

I haven't played Deus EX Human Revolution yet, I'm still stuck on Ni No Kuni. One of my friends is constantly telling me to play it. I would like to see a Just Cause 3 on the PS4, now that will be sweet.

It's kind of boring in the beginning (so was the original), but after two or three hours and the first few augmentations the game has you by the throat and won't let go (just like the original). It's amazing, addictive fun, and not something you're likely to forget.
I personally don't feel the game has the great replay value people esteem it for, however. Despite the multiple paths you're still heading toward the same destination--but discovering those paths for the first time is extremely fun.

Human Revolution was like the only game Square Enix published that I really enjoyed.
So I'm happy to hear this.
(Tomb Raider next week!)I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

The artstyle and colour schemes in this game we so atmospheric. Love the symbolism in the colour extremes (contrast between dark and bright aspects of the future)

Turns out it really is for the film adaptation of Human Revolution:

The correlation was figured out by Superannuation, after a domain registration filed by CBS Films popped up online. The movie will feature a cyberpunk setting according to filmmaker C. I'm sure we'll still see a fourth Deus Ex title.Last edited by Blacksite; 03-02-2013 at 20:57.

As long as they don't screw up the movie. We all know video game movies don't always turn out so hot.
I wonder who will play Adam?
