Children are wonderful and I would love to have kids, but I would need a stronger foundation for a relationship before I established a family

I like zero, because it means there's no number. That's how many kids I want. I'd rather just have sex everyday and a lot of different partners from all over the world. That's just pipe-dreaming I guess.

It was indeed surprising since you sounded so mature and responsible. All jest aside my thoughts exactly with what you said. I cannot bare the burden of worrying over the well being of my family unless I have a decent career and live in a friendly environment they can live in without much hardship.

On topic:
I agree completely, a career and a decent living and a strong relationship is the foundation of what would be a strong family bond and stable surroundings for your kids to grow up and go out into the world with an understandingLast edited by claud3; 03-03-2013 at 16:25.

As much as I hate saying this, I can't help but agree with you. I've not really done a 'nighttime discussion' before but I can't imagine it being more than the woman launching into great detail about something and the guy just grunting in agreement, or something similar along those lines. I even believe this is how women win arguments all the time, haha.
Anyway, as for me, the original plan was to settle down and have a family of two or three children. Unfortunately that went to pot when my partner and I split. So I have one child who I love more than anything and, truth be told, I'd be satisfied if I never have another child again. I can't see that happening, though.

Honestly, my ideal number is one. Some might say that's selfish but whatever.

How is that selfish?
It'll still mess a woman up. My wife is more freaked out about having a C-section than a natural birth.
I always thought 2 or 3. My wife is currently 3 months pregnant with twins. So who knows, if we end up with a boy and girl, it's possible we may just stop here.
Thanks to THUGGEDOUT for the sig, The Black Wolf for the av.Life's too short to be sober! Drunk with power!
