Error Code 80010514 and Ejecting Noises

Started around a month ago, was in the middle of playing WWE 13 and it froze. So i turned the ps3 off and on again, and the error code appeared when trying to start the game up. Since then it has worked fine for a few weeks but then started up again, same error code but this time with black ops 2. Tried various games and same code appears, sometimes with an ejecting sound but the game doesn't eject. Weird thing is the games do work after a while if I keep trying but fair to say this is starting to piss me off.

Tried everyone I can find on the internet such as changing sound settings, restoring the file system, cleaning the exterior of the ps3 and making sure it is well ventilated but nothing seems to be working. I haven't tried the Opening the ps3 up to clean the Blu-Ray Lens as the games do work perfectly once they have loaded up.

So I am wondering if there is something obvious that i might not have tried, as most people that have the error code in particular (that i have read) don't seem to be able to plays games at all. Any help would be much appreciated and +rep for any who can help

Did you try vacumming the vents in the back? That ejecting noise does not sound good at all. I think its the blu-ray lens man.

Tried everything mate. Vacuumed the vents, cleared all the dust that was gathered. Have read that it may be the Blu Ray lens that needs cleaned but don't really wanna risk opening it up as like i say if i get the games to start they work perfect

Oh..well I guess you can send it in to sony or go ro your local repair shop if you don't want to mess around with the lens. The problem is the lens for sure.
