    Yeah, you can and even PS1 or PS2 ID you will carry over PS4.

    Rumor is yes you carry over your PSN.

    Not sure if it has been confirmed yet though.

    I'm sure it will share the same PSN ID structure that's on the PS Vita which remote plays the PS4 using the PSN ID it also remote accesses and plays the PS3.

    It would not make any sense to break these apart.

    There's no advantage to doing so, and it would only complicate things when dealing with PS Vita working with PS4.

    Your psn id is basically a SEN id (sony entertainment network) which is an ID that is attached to all of Sony's Services such as Psn, Music unlimited and stuff like that. So yeah, it'll transfer to the ps4.
